Cannabis in Morocco's Parliament

If you don't already know it yet, Morocco is the main supplier of Hashish (concentrated Marijuana in a form of sticky, dark resin) to almost half of the globe. Yet, until now, Cannabis is still illegal in Morocco. Well that all might change very soon.

The urge to legalize Cannabis has been officially spoken of as early as 2009. Just last year, Cannabis cultivation has also been the talk. But only just as recent as last Friday, November the 23rd, the Moroccan's Members of Parliament had call for the legalisation of Cannabis.

In Rif, Morocco alone, 300,000 men are in jail because of the cultivation of Cannabis. Many of them are well-known public figures. This are one of the many topic discussed in the parliament.

America is slowly accepting Cannabis use. Uruguay is just months away from being the first country to legalise Cannabis & now Moroccans are on their way. The ball is rolling fast & full with momentum. All aimed towards one goal, the Hemp Future. Do your part by spreading the knowledge of Cannabis to your close ones.
